57 Guitars is a boutique guitar building outfit based in Surrey, England. We pride ourselves on creating one of a kind instruments that reflect the style of early electric guitars from the 1950's, but brought right up to date using the best of modern components and hardware. Our passion is showcasing the finest woods using water based stains and traditional oil finishes, that are both hard-wearing and easy on the environment.

We tend to use Limba (Korina), Sapele and Mahogany for bodies and necks, alongside Maple, Swamp Ash and Walnut where available. We also have great contacts in the Peak district, Suffolk and Surrey to source the more exotic timbers shown in some of our builds. Currently working on commissions and one off builds for our growing customer base, and also a couple of standard models that will be available later this year to specify and produce your own unique version.
